A gorgeous piece of vintage US Air Force history, and one that proven quite popular with pilots and groundcrew alike during the golden age of the Cold War “Jet Jockeys”.
This thick wool shirt/ jacket was made for only a few short years at the outset of the Korean War in the early 1950’s, and is quite a difficult thing to track down in this sort of size and condition.
Wonderful utilitarian pocket layout with a timeless fit and finish.
Made to be worn either as a standalone jacket, or as part of a cold weather layering system.
